A STUDENT’S GUIDE TO FOOD IN NORWAY

The Student Welfare Organisation operates four cafeterias on campus at University of Nordland; the MAIN CAFETERIA situated in a separate building opposite entrance B, PENNALET situated at entrance C\D, ALEXANDRIA next to the Library, and KASJOTTEN located in Mørkvedgården for the benefit of students at The Police University College. 

Related to SSiB's goal of welfare for all students, we are also involved with managing cafeterias at the University`s Stokmarknes and Mo i Rana branches.

Our cafeterias strive to offer both students and employees, a varied and wellbalanced selection of food every day. We serve breakfast every morning from 8:00 am, lunch, and dinner until 5:00 pm

SSiB's cafeteria department is responsible for the placement of vending machines for merchandise, cold drinks and coffee on Mørkved Campus.

All our cafeterias offer a selection of dairy products, cold drinks and other newsstand products.

We constantly strive to be the students best alternative at meal times and have some pretty awesome specials you ill enjoy. Here is a list of some special deals:

DINNER CARD - 11 dinners for the price of 10 (17% saving)
COFFEE CARD - 30 cups of coffee\tea for kr. 190,- (37% saving)

For students and employees at University of Nordland, we are the obvious choice when it comes to special events that include food and meals. We also cater to venues off campus.
Either the Main Cafeteria, with 300 seats, respectively with 60 seats in Lugaren, 80 seats in Grillen, 200 seats in the Main Cafeteria, and Akutten with up to 80 seats are rented out for student and employee events.
